Nothing but Clear Skies
There are good days and there are bad days. And some days are just plain gray, like today. After a stunningly beautiful spring weekend, clouds and rain have now taken over. Coming from a hot and sunny caribbean country, I always get a serious case of the blues on days like this. And I wonder if at some unconscious level that is why I decided to work on the sky of my demo this morning. Your brain plays funny tricks on you like that. And so, in my silly little virtual world the sky is clear, the sun is shining and just a few clouds float happily and freely in the distance. Take a look at it:


All courtesy of a nice little library called Caelum. That is more or less latin for sky. A more precise translation would be 'heavens'. Learning the library and adding it was not too painful. I hope that means I am getting the hang of this. It takes care of the sun, clouds, rain, the moon and the stars for you. This is just what I needed to improve my day. I am happy now :)
